Getting big

We're at 17 weeks and not only is baby Bowman getting big, but I am starting to get big too! This is probably the last week of clothes that have a waistline and aren't made out of stretchy fabric! I'm happy to have made it 4.5 months before needing maternity clothes, and with baby Bowman being the size of a turnip (the pic above), it's time to embrace a new body.

As a reminder, here are a few exciting things coming up:
March 30th-Labor of Love Classes (our child birthing classes at Summit)
April 7th-We find out what baby Bowman is
June 6th-Baby shower (hosted by Alissa, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Mary Natalie)
August 30th-Baby Bowman arrives (160 days to go)

We are all feeling great around the Bowman household. As we get closer and closer, we are getting more and more excited! We love you guys and all of your excitement makes us realize how lucky we are to have such amazing friends and family during this time.

Best Phone Call

Today, I got the best phone call. Little baby Bowman's genetic and chromosomal tests came back normal. What a wonderful blessing! Jeff and I are are happy and grateful beyond words.

Thank you for all the love and support; care and concern. We can't wait for April 7th to get here, so we can find out what baby Bowman is!!!!

XOXOXO!

Lots of news

Sweet baby Bowman is the about the size of an apple this week (15 weeks and counting)! We are 174 days away today from the big arrival. At my doctor's visit this morning, baby Bowman's heart rate was a strong 156, and at the very end baby Bowman kicked the doppler! My nurse thought it was hysterical.

Speaking of the big arrival, we aren't going to wait until that day to find out what this little baby is, so in one month on Wednesday April 7th at 9:30 am we find out what baby Bowman is!!!! In the meantime, keep the guesses coming on here.

On a final note, make sure to mark your calendars for Sunday, June 6th-it's the day of the baby shower! Alissa Hudson, Elizabeth Maxwell, Lauren Adcock, and Mary Natalie Hester have graciously and generously offered to host this event, and I couldn't be more happy and excited. They are a hostess dream team, and I know it will absolutely be the perfect day of celebration.

For everyone reading, we love you guys. Thank you for making this amazing time in our life so special. XOXO!

1st Maternity Dress

I'm fast approaching needing some maternity clothes, so on Saturday I found the most fabulous little dress at Pickles and Ice Cream (a maternity boutique in Cool Springs). It's the first "maternity" item I've bought, and I love it!
Several of you guys have been asking for a belly shot, so here you go! This is the official 14 week belly. There's definitely a little bump forming. I think I've got about 3 more weeks in my regular clothes and then I will live in stretchy fabrics! PS-baby Bowman is about the size of a lemon this week (3.5 inches long!).

Jeff will kill me me, but I had to share how exciting our nights have become around the house. Everyone, including the dogs, realize that we better rest and get sleep now because very soon there will be none!
Only 6 more weeks til we find out what baby Bowman is, so make sure you take the poll!
