Lots and Lots of Love

My dear friend, Kristin Huff, sent Jeff and I the most delicious, fabulous, could have eaten everyone of them in 2.5 seconds brownies. Seriously, these are the BEST brownies you will ever eat!
What a treat to get such a nice surprise from such a dear friend. Kristin has been apart of all the big moments in my life. She was there through college, a bridesmaids in our wedding, and now she is here for our next big adventure. It's hard to find true friends, and I am very lucky to have Kristin as one.

Our friends the Swain's sent us this adorable card. It's amazing they found time since they are over half way there to having their own little bundle on joy! We are so excited that baby Bowman will have a friend to play with.

And lastly, here is a picture from the day of love-Valentines Day. Jeff and I got up and had brunch at the Chop House in Lebanon, and it was fabulous. The day couldn't have been better, as this Valentines Day there was even more love and happiness with the excitement of baby Bowman.

PS-Speaking of love, Jeff and I are officially signed up for Labor of Love child birthing classes. We begin March 30th at Summit (where we are 99.9% sure we will have little baby Bowman). Let's hope we pass and they let us have this little kiddo!

12th Week of Bliss

This is what 12 weeks looks like. Baby Bowman has grown to the size of a lime! And, the coolest thing is baby Bowman now has reflexes that can open and close fingers, curl toes, clench eye muscles, and make sucking movements with the mouth.

Our little baby is getting big and strong, and we are enjoying every second. I'm still feeling great-of note, I think I've hitting the nesting stage. I've decided our house is filthy and unorganized and it has to immediately be taken care of with the strength of a hazmat team! And so Jeff doesn't feel left out, he's getting lovely honey do lists! Oh the joys.....

Fabulousness!!!!

I am so excited I can't hardly stand myself! I got a little surprise from Nona and Poppy (my parents, Charlene and Mike)-it's the most fabulous diaper bag ever! Mom and I went shopping and I saw this diaper bag and I just fell in love with it. I think Jeff will be ok with carrying it too, but lets face it, it's so fabulous that I may not trust him to use it!

I looked at mom in Coach and said, "wow, this kid already has nicer things than me!" And, I'm guessing this is only the start!

I'm luckier and happier and more excited than I knew could be possible. I can't wait to meet this kiddo.
XOXO!

Strong!

Our second doctor's visit was today, and I think Baby Bowman is going to be a handful! The heartbeat was 172 and that kiddo was moving all over the place....I told the nurse that our little trouble maker clearly takes after Jeff!

I still feel great, and with the first trimester almost down, I am happy to report that I've only gained 1 pound...whew! (You are only suppose to gain 1-2 lbs your first trimester)

I'll report back soon. Lots of love to everyone!

PS-I know more than 2 people read this blog, so get to voting on the gender of Baby Bowman. It's fun and I'm curious what people think!

10 Week Fun Fact

Baby Bowman's arms are about as big/long as this "I." Below is a kumquat, roughly the same size as Baby Bowman, approximately 1-1.25 inches.
